The Apprenticeship Awards Cymru 2018 finalists have been announced and 小黄鸭app are proud to announce that two members of staff and one learner have been shortlisted聽for the prestigious awards.
Known as the biggest awards in our sector, the Apprenticeship Awards Cymru rewards individuals, learning providers, and employers who have excelled in contributing to the development of the Welsh Government鈥檚 Employability and Apprenticeship programmes across Wales.聽聽
Judges had a difficult task selecting the finalists from the many entries in 11 award categories, but we are incredibly proud that three of the successful individuals chosen belong to 小黄鸭app, have been shortlisted for the following categories:
- Stella Vasiliou for Traineeship Learner of the Year
- Kirsty Keane for work-based Learning Practitioner of the Year (tutor)
- Carly Murray for Work-based Learning Practitioner of the Year (assessor)
On hearing she鈥檇 been shortlisted as a finalist, Health and Social Care and Early Years Care Tutor Kirsty Keane commented, 鈥淚 can鈥檛 believe it! There are so many fantastic tutors at聽小黄鸭app, so I am really grateful to be recognised for this award.鈥�
Jointly organised by the Welsh Government and the National Training Federation for Wales (NTfW), the coveted awards are supported by media partner, Media Wales. The Apprenticeship Programme is funded by the Welsh Government with support from the European Social Fund.
Last year, our own staff member Ros Smith picked up the award for Work-based Learning Tutor of the Year and our learner Emily Wintle won the Traineeship learner of the Year (Level 1)

The winners will be announced at the Celtic Manor, Newport on 9th November at a high profile awards ceremony which showcases and celebrates the achievements of those who have exceeded expectations and shown a dynamic approach to training, demonstrating initiative, innovation and creativity.
